This blog is a handy place to hang my abstract hat. Much of what i’ve written, some of what i’ve thought about and none of what I’ve actually done in my finest moments will be chucked into this blog with as much nonchalant haphazardness as I can muster.
It’s meant to be a little nook, a tiny cranny where to vent, to converse and sometimes just pontificate. A little corner of the Web 2.0 I can furnish with comfy furniture and unrepentent prejudicies. As long as they’re liberal, inclusive prejudices. Now if WordPress can only come up with an app for a virtual espresso machine in an unused corner.
I have recently made a decision to hurl caution to the hot, dusty winds of Dubai and give up the formal nine to five in favour of full time writing – creating what i love and the other way around. I’ve explained my motivations elsewhere in this blog, but it’s worth pointing out that I will continue to update here all musings and scribblings save commercial copywriting.
It is essential to distinguish digital and conventional jounralism from business copywriting to accomodate diverging audiences, preferences, and modi operandorum; commerical work will be hence be directed to www.createright.net. Why createright? Well, it’s better than copywrite.
